Terms of Service
Draft · last updated when reviewed
These terms govern your use of Cepwell. They are a draft scaffold pending legal review.
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Cepwell, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What Cepwell is — and isn't
Cepwell is a tool to help you track your continuing professional education against state board requirements. Cepwell is not a CPE content provider, and is not affiliated with NASBA, AICPA, or any state board.Completing courses, retaining documentation, and meeting your board’s requirements remain your responsibility.
3. Accuracy and the preview-state concept
We model each jurisdiction’s rules as data and work to keep them correct, but board rules change and our coverage is rolling out one verified state at a time. States are clearly marked as “board-verified” or “preview” (modeled but not yet verified). Cepwell is provided without warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of any requirement, calculation, or compliance status — especially for preview states. Always confirm against your board before relying on a result.
4. Acceptable use
Use Cepwell only for its intended purpose and only for accounts you are authorized to manage. Do not attempt to access other users’ data, disrupt the service, or use it unlawfully.
5. Your account
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for the activity under your account. Keep your contact information current so we can reach you about your account.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cepwell is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any licensing, disciplinary, or financial consequences arising from your use of — or reliance on — the service. The service is provided “as is.”
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect.
