About Cepwell
Cepwell was built by a practicing CPA who got tired of tracking continuing education the hard way — spreadsheets, screenshots of certificates, and a nagging uncertainty about whether it all actually added up to what the board required.
The name comes from the Latin root cep· — to take hold, to keep — the same root behind “receive” and “capable.” Joined with “well,” it means what the product does: helping you hold your license securely and keep it in good standing.
Every state board has its own CPE rules — different cycles, different ethics requirements, different ways of counting. Most tools either ignore those differences or get them subtly wrong. Cepwell models each jurisdiction’s actual requirements as data, and shows you exactly where you stand against them — not a generic progress bar, but your real position against your real board’s rules.
Ohio is our first board-verified state, with more in preview as we verify them one at a time. We’d rather tell you honestly that a state is “modeled but not yet verified” than have you trust a number we haven’t confirmed. Your license is too important for guesswork.
Cepwell is not a CPE content provider, and is not affiliated with NASBA, AICPA, or any state board. It’s a tool to help you keep track — built by someone who needed exactly that.
